Terms of Service
It is my sincere intention that our coaching relationship will be fair and beneficial to both of us. To that end, we will both sign a simple contract at the beginning setting forth our financial arrangement and term of coaching anticipated.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING
There will be no individual coaching session begun for which payment has not been received (in the case of checks, this means the check has cleared your bank.)
I accept PayPal, checks by mail, VISA and MasterCard. Types of payment accepted may be expanded in the future.
I bill clients on a monthly basis. Your bill for next month will be sent during the third week of this month. If you are paying by check, I need to receive it at least a full two weeks before the first coaching session for which it pays. This is because banks are now taking up to 12 business days to clear checks which are going into small business accounts.
If your check is returned for insufficient funds, I will add my own bank's charges to your bill and expect that to be paid along with the coaching fee before we have the coaching session.
The second time this happens, you will put on 'credit card only' status for the rest of our relationship.
When your agreed upon coaching period has only two sessions remaining (or any time before that) you may renew your package for the same rate you have been paying--even if you are on a special sale rate. After that point, your renewal will be at currently posted prices on the website.
If you decide to take your coaching to the next higher level (e.g., go from Amethyst to Emerald package) at the renewal point, you will receive a credit equal to 1/2 of what you could have saved if you had always been at the Emerald level.
If you must cancel and reschedule a session, I require no less than 24 hours notice. If you notify me any later than that, there will be a $50 cancellation fee, except under special circumstances.
BUSINESS COACHING
There will be no telephonic business coaching session begun for which payment has not been received (in the case of checks, this means the check has cleared your bank.)
I accept PayPal, checks by mail, VISA and MasterCard. Types of payment accepted may be expanded in the future.

If the session is to be in person, and your location is within the great Los Angeles/SanDiego area, I will require one-half of the anticipated fee at least two weeks before we meet (for the same reasons stated in the Individual Coaching section) and the balance when we meet.
Sessions that necessitate travel and lodging will require a deposit of $5,000 at least one month before our meeting (this allows me to obtain the best airfare prices)and the balance before I leave your location on the final day of the trip.
For Business Coaching involving face-to-face meetings there will be an engagement letter issued to protect both of us.
Cancellation/rescheduling of telephone coaching sessions or local face-to-face sessions will incur a $75 charge unless I receive at least 24 hours notice. The charge may be waived under special circumstances.
Cancellation/rescheduling of face-to-face sessions involving travel and lodging must be made two weeks in advance and you will be expected to pay any airline or hotel cancellation fees charged to me.
Either of us may permanently cancel our coaching relationship with thirty days written notice.
